Spring Daisy Nails

After a couple months of brittle winter nails and very little desire to paint them, I decided some bright colors are in order.

I dug through my nail polish draw (I really need to get them all back on a rack) and pulled out all my pastel colors. I topped my pastel rainbow with a sheer iridescent shimmer and stamped a white daisy on each nail. I think my Daisy Scouts are going to be jealous… and that wasn’t even my intention! 🙂

Don’t look at my winter worn cuticles! A few weeks of manicure therapy should fix them right up again.

I used Essie’s All In One Base, a mix of different Erica Jill and Sinful Colors pastel polishes all topped with Jordana’s Shining Star. Wet N Wild’s basic white for the stamp and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top (which is actually pretty good).

Happy Spring All!

  1. @Crystalinne – Yes, for this I did use a stamper made specifically for nails, like this one. However I have used rubber stamps with acrylic paint, getting varied results. It’s worth playing around with if you have them, but the nail stamper sets are just about everywhere now and are pretty inexpensive and simple to use if you want to check it out. Initially I got a cheap one at Walmart for under $4, then I found better plates online later.
