Ever watch that show Fetch! with Ruff Ruffman on PBS? Well, my daughter loves it. Or rather she loves Ruff, cause if he’s not on the screen she’s not interested. So after much deliberation, I decided to make her a stuffed Ruff Ruffman for her first birthday!
I think he came out pretty darn good too. I had about 2 yards of this heather peachy/pink sweatshirt fleece just dying to be used and I put it to good use! I turned it inside out for Ruff’s belly and the inside of his ears. I designed his eyes, nose & glasses in photoshop and printed it out onto iron-on paper and did a tight zig–zag stitch for his eyebrows and mouth. Pretty cool huh? And of course she got it early cause how on earth could I really have hidden it from her.. haha I’m just glad she likes it!
