Baby Teeth Container!

Willow lost her first tooth last weekend, so we had to find a new tooth keeper! Her older brothers were not as interested in housing their baby teeth in anything special, but thankfully willow wanted something sparkly!

We found one of Rye’s great grandmother’s neat oldschool pill containers that did the trick. All week long Willow had a new idea of what to do with the container and finally today we glittered it up!

Unfortunately I forgot to take a before picture 😦 but I got some afters!

So, she painted it with tacky glue and rolled it in translucent purple glitter!

I tied the golden ribbon on for her and she glued a big red gem to the lid!

Aaaaand the worlds coolest baby tooth container was born!

A very Blythe looking Willow showing off her missing tooth.. very uninterested.. hehe

For those of you that may be wondering, what about the tooth fairy? Well, we don’t do the tooth fairy in our house. Firstly cause I don’t like lying to my kids. But secondly because 5 kids worth of baby teeth would put any fake tooth fairy in the poor house.. haha. I keep their baby teeth in a nifty container and then attach the container to their scrapbook. So far, this one is my fav!

Happy Crafting!

  1. That is an awesome idea!! We don’t do the tooth fairy either. Or Santa or anything else fake. I’m like you, I don’t like lying to my kids when here I am trying to teach them the difference between right and wrong!!
